Zimnat Life Assurance is seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Graduate Trainee to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in corporate and pension fund actuarial valuations, including data validation, benefit calculations, liability determination, and consolidation of results.
- Performing data preparation, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting experience investigations and analysis of demographic and financial assumptions.
- Assisting in product development, pricing reviews, and benefit design analysis.
- Supporting automation, digitization, and process improvement initiatives within the actuarial function.
- Assisting in daily, monthly, and annual actuarial task runs and reporting cycles.
- Preparing draft actuarial reports, schedules, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting peer reviews and quality checks on actuarial calculations and outputs.
- Liaising with other departments to support actuarial projects and deliverables.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Senior Actuarial Consultant.
Requirements
- An Undergraduate Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
- At least one (1) actuarial examination pass.
- At least one (1) year of experience in the insurance sector, preferably life insurance.
- A sound understanding of actuarial and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong professional work ethic and integrity.
