The above-mentioned position has arisen within TIMB, and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the positions on a 9 month fixed term contract. The successful candidates will be based at TIMB Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing and receipting process as far as receivables are concerned.
- Liaising with the Exports department and consolidation of financial information.
- Request and obtain a bank statement from all banks to facilitate the reconciliation purpose.
- Liaising and submission of statements to customers for verification and confirmation to ensure all details and amounts have been captured accurately.
- Processing of deductions through the Debt Recovery Services System.
- Capturing all payments processed for the month and compile a report.
Requirements
- At least 5 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics/ Accounts with a Grade C or better.
- Higher National Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in the Tobacco Industry will be an added advantage.
