ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Finance Manager, roles and responsibilities for this position include: –

• Ensuring that foreign and local creditors are paid in accordance with contractual terms.
• Maintaining accurate creditor and banking ledgers, through ensuring timely preparation and review of relevant reconciliations among other controls.
• Providing leadership and supervision of staff in the creditors and banking sections.
• Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective and efficient internal controls within the
• Preparation of relevant reports within the Treasury section.
• Attending to auditors and resolving audit queries.

Applicants for this position should have the following

qualifications and attributes:

• A Chartered Accountant(recently qualified with wide exposure)
• Post qualifying experience in related role wit bean added advantage
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
• Good analytical skill and problem-solving capabilities
• Pro-active Individual who is able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
