Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the above mentioned post that has arisen at Nyagui Sub-Catchment Council.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain petty cash ledger and prepare petty cash replenishment
- Prepare cash receipt vouchers for cash collected and cash deposited to the bank.
- Weekly bank reconciliations approved by the bookkeeper.
- Work closely with the administrative officer on physical counting of assets, inventory and property.
- Procurement issues such as sourcing quotations.
- Updating the trade receivables on a weekly basis.
- Receipting
- Maintaining a sound filing of all the company documents.
Qualifications And Experience
- Applicants must have at least 5 O’level passes including English Language and Mathematics Grade C or better.
- A National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- A degree in Accounting or Purchase and Supply is an added advantage.
- Applicants should have at least three years relevant work experience and knowledge of an Accounting package such as Pastel.
