Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill three Accounts Assistant positions at Grade C5 .
The positions support the Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation.
The Accounts Assistant will provide a comprehensive working capital management system and support exchange accounting in line with the Corporation’s mandate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and reconciling all Corporation assets and investments.
  • Maintaining records for all rented building space and ensuring receipt of rental payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with Corporation policies, procedures and other regulations.
  • Managing investments.
  • Preparing end-of-year audit schedules.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on revenue and relevant activities.
  • Completing monthly reconciliations.
  • Reconciling producers’ accounts monthly.
  • Ensuring statutory payments are discharged timeously.
  • Performing any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Accounting.
  • At least three years’ relevant work experience in a finance-related field.
  • Part CIS, CIMA or ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of an ERP system is an added advantage.
