KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Preparing financial statements and annual appropriation accounts for the TNF in conformity with TNF Accounting standards.
•Preparing the annual, Trust Fund and Capital budget estimates in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act.
•Preparing monthly consolidated financial analysis as per TNF Accounting Standards.
•Preparing and maintaining all statutory requirements for the TNF.
•Controlling the TNF and Auxiliary Trust Funds in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act.
•Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on statements raised by the TNF and submitted to the Auditor General’s Office.
•Determining staff travel and other allowances for disbursement to all staff.
•Preparing monthly salaries and special funds and preparing budgets for presentation to Treasurer.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or full qualification in any of the following (C.A) (Z), C.I.S., or ACCA.
•At least 3 years’ experience in financial/accounting procedures and regulations (Public Finance Management Act, etc.).
•Experience in the preparation and administration of public service budgets and packages.
