Vacancy : Accountant Revenue
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal applicants should have the following qualifications:
- 5 O Levels including English Language and Mathematics or Accounts
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- ACCA, CIMA or CIS is an added advantage
- At least 3 years post qualification experience in Accounting field or Public Sector environment
- Middle management experience is an added advantage
- At least 30 years old and mature
- A Clean criminal record
- Clean Class 4 Driver’s License
Competencies
- Computer Literate
- Knowledge of Packages i.e Pastel Accounting
- Analytical and technical skills
Duties
- Supervises production of bank and debtors reconciliation statements
- Updates Income Cash Books
- Prepares income reports d
- Banks all cash received everyday
- Maintains security item register
- Produces weekly cash flow statements
- Supervises on the billing of ratepayers or stakeholders and should make sure thst the billing is done on time
- Device revenue collection strategies and collects revenue as laid down in the budget
- Participates in the Formulation of the budget
- Production of Final Accounts for external Adits
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
