An established organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team.
This is a high-responsibility role, ideal for a candidate with a strong manufacturing background and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts
• Develop budgets and monitor spending trends
• Analyse cost structures and recommend profit improvement strategies
• Verify supplier invoices for completeness and compliance prior to processing
• Process supplier invoices within 48 hours of receipt
• Ensure accurate system entry of raw materials and finished goods
• Prepare and reconcile creditors’ accounts
• Maintain and implement accounting policies aligned with company guidelines
• Submit timely and accurate statutory returns
• Produce year-end financial statements
• Monitor and manage stock levels and perform monthly stock takes
• Efficiently manage and process company payments

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

 

• Hands-on knowledge of Palladium accounting software (advantageous)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification (CIS/ACCA/CIMA) is essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is mandatory
