ACCOUNTANT

 

LOCATION – MUREHWA

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage VAT, PAYE, corporate tax filings, and ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements.

• Develop budgets, monitor variances, and provide forecasts to guide management decisions in a volatile market.

• Track production, distribution, and marketing costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and accurate inventory valuation.

• Oversee liquidity, manage multi-currency transactions, and mitigate risks from inflation and exchange rate fluctuations.

• Manage the cashflow of the business

• Maintain strong internal controls, prepare audit documentation, and support both internal and external audits.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Professional qualification is an added advantage

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounting

• Knowledge of Pastel System is a must

• Experience in FMCG an added advantage
