Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts
• Manages cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
• Ensures compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Monitors financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Supervises accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, and reconciliations
• Coordinates audits and liaises with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Develops and implements efficient financial systems and internal controls
• Supports procurement, operational, and investment decision-making processes
• Leads and mentors the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• FMCG experience is highly preferred
• Mining experience is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and taxation
• Proficiency in accounting packages and Microsoft Excel
