Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions:-
Accountant (Grade 9) – Revenue (Fixed Term Performance Based Contract-12 Months)
Reporting To: -Treasurer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Implementing revenue collection programs
• Performing monthly debtors’ reconciliations
• Reconcile inter- account receipts on a monthly basis
• Assist in preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of Bank recon dilations
• Production of debtors’ monthly statements
• Assist in preparation of council budgets
Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum of a Degree in Accounting/Part C CIS/ACCA/CIMA
• At least two years working experience preferably in a local authority
• No criminal record
• Knowledge of Pastel
• The person should be 30 years and above
• Membership to a professional board an added advantage
