Job Summary

ELLCHART BUSINESS SCHOOL is seeking a results-oriented and detail-driven Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to play a key role in financial reporting and tax compliance within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax.
• Liaise with ZIMRA and other statutory bodies on compliance-related matters.
• Oversee the finance function including proper recording of transactions and other events.
• Budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support audits and ensure that internal controls are adhered to.
• Supervise the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (ICAZ, ACCA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in accounting and taxation roles.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Zimbabwean tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
