Responsibilities and duties include
- Product Costing, classifying costs accurately, performing activities such as cost benefit analysis, breakeven analysis, and make or buy decisions.
- Variance analysis, cost controlling and cost analysis, scrutinizing associated company expenses.
- Tracking, analyzing and reporting individual shop Gross profits daily, weekly and monthly
- Ensuring financial discipline through effective internal controls.
- Driving the financial strategy, budgeting, audit and forecasting process;
- Analysing financial ratios and advising on the health of the business to management.
Preparation of Cashflow statements, complete accurate financial reports
– management accounts, financial statements, annual reports
- Maintaining and controlling the cashbook receipts and payments and the company’s general ledger
- Develop, implement and monitor a sound, effective and efficient inventory and procurement system
- Advise Directors on capex and working capital decision

- Job Application Details Requirements Must have a relevant academic qualification in Accounting or related field. Professional qualification like CIMA; ACCA or related will be an added advantage Must have a proven work experience of not less than 3 years as costing/ financial Accountant in the manufacturing or production-oriented industry.
