ACCOUNTANT

Ideal candidate responsibilities include:
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statementand other reports.
• Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating and answering questions.
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarising account information and trends.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial confidential.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations

Requirements of the Job
• Must have strong analytical skills and communication skills
• 5 Year’s Experience in the field of accounting
• Must be a vibrant and have dynamic personality with a lot of energy.
• Strong leadership skills, plus ability to build and fostera positive team environment.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in accounting or equivalent
Membership of a recognised professional body or relevant institutions
