Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of MEL Advisor, Accountability, Knowledge Management and Learning Officer is responsible for providing technical and professional support to document and communicate the organization’s work.
Duties And Responsibilities
He/she will have the primary responsibility to draft, edit communication content and maintain the organization’s visibility.
• Collect and document all project success stories, lessons learnt and best practices
• Roll-out the project community feedback mechanisms activities
• Maintain the organization’s visibility on the organization’s website and social media (Website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
• Liaise with partners for photographs, communicate all successes, and project development on social media
• Use social media as a feedback platform for the public and various stakeholders and partners
• Design and distribute newsletters
• Design IEC Material
• Compile a photograph and video library
• Maintain a centralized archive of project reports and documents in digital and hardcopy
• Developing project communication strategy
Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Media and Society Studies, Journalism, Communication, Development Studies, or related field
• At least 4 years’ work experience in documentation, accountability, knowledge management and learning
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining organizational visibility, drafting, editing, content communication, copywriting, desktop publishing, filming, and photography
• Experience in research and community feedback mechanisms are added advantages
