The successful candidate will develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications for customer portals and internal dashboards, directly impacting the digital experience of thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
- Build reusable components, design systems, and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility
- Integrate with backend RESTful APIs and collaborate with UX/UI designers
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and Agile workflows
- Optimise frontend performance and user experience, staying current with best practices
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS (hooks, context) and NextJS (SSR, SSG, routing)
- Advanced HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design) and TypeScript
- RESTful API integration, asynchronous operations, and Git workflow experience
- 2-3+ years commercial frontend development with production-ready applications
- Experience working collaboratively in Agile teams
- State management: Redux, Zustand, Context API
- CSS preprocessors or CSS-in-JS: SASS/SCSS, styled-components
- Testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Build tools and CI/CD: Webpack, Vite
- Accessibility (WCAG), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), monitoring tools (Sentry, DataDog)
- Telecoms/ISP experience
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proactive in learning and self-development
