An organization involved in development, advocacy and humanitarian work seeks to fill this position.
Purpose
To assist Program implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Reporting, Coordination and control of resources
Major responsibilities
Assists in community mobilization and sensitization; Assists in beneficiary identification and registration for the project; Assists in facilitating agricultural trainings and monitoring of agricultural activities; Conduct regular household visits, community level meetings with beneficiaries and stakeholders; Conducts record keeping and filing of relevant project documents at the district; Assists in the preparation and submission of reports; Organizes and facilitating community level meetings; Receives feedback from the community on the project activities; Collect Significant Change stories from the field; Assist in the maintenance of records of assets and stocks at district level; Assist in the compilation of all returns from materials distributions; Responsible use of all organizational assets
Qualifications, skills, attributes and experience
Masters degree in Agriculture / Agriculture Economics, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management, Development Studies/Sustainable Development; Training in Project Management and Monitoring and Evaluation will be an advantage; Good report writing, facilitation, communication, analytical, negotiation and community mobilization skills; Ability to work under pressure; Good report writing skills; Good interpersonal and communication skills; Highly computer literate; Ability to use data analysis packages such as SPSS, CS-Pro, Advanced Excel
