The Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute (MEFMI) is a regional capacity-building institution that operates in Zimbabwe among other member countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. Headquartered in Harare, MEFMI delivers training programs, technical assistance, and policy advisory services to government officials, central bankers, and finance ministry personnel across the region. In Zimbabwe specifically, the institute supports public financial management, debt management, and macroeconomic policy formulation through workshops, seminars, and customized interventions. Established in 1996 by member states including Zimbabwe, MEFMI continues to strengthen institutional frameworks for economic governance throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
