Responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of radio communication networks and instrumentation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of traffic signals infrastructure, CCTV and electronic equipment.
- Configuration and programming of radio and repeater systems.
- Monitors network infrastructure maintenance schedules.
- Diagnoses and repairs radio network faults.
- Implements electrical instrumentation monitoring and diagnosis.
- Installs and maintains medical equipment and PLC-based controllers.
- Attends instrument faults and performs equipment repairs.
- Assembles radio and telecommunication systems.
- Trains apprentices and students.
- Implements safety and health policies.
Requirements
- Five ‘O’ Level passes.
- Higher National Diploma in Electronic Engineering with 3 years post qualification experience.
- Certification in repeater and radio programming an added advantage.
- Certification in CCTV installation an added advantage.
- Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
