A leading refinery organization in Harare is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the above position.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of goods and services from local and foreign suppliers in line with Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act [Chap 22:23]
- Preparing bidding documents, uploading them in the electronic Government Procurement System (e-GP)
- Attending tender evaluation proceedings and ensuring the reports are prepared in accordance with public procurement procedures.
- Pre-qualify, evaluate suppliers, manage relationships and performance.
- Draft contract documents, process purchase orders, and expedite deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Contract management to mitigate against supply chain associated risks
- Freight forwarding and customs clearance
- Preparing procurement reports and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- First degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Membership of a Procurement Professional Board is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven working experience in public procurement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities
- Clean class 4 driver’s license
