POSITION : SKILLED WORKER (4-2) WELDER

GRADE : 12/11/10
REPORTING TO : SKILLED WORKER (1) WELDER
LOCATION : WATER WORKSHOP (TRUNKS)
DEPARTMENT : HARARE WATER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for appointment in the above vacant positions in the Production Division of Harare Water Department.
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for providing hands-on support in the fabrication, assembly, maintenance and repair of workshop equipment and water infrastructure components.
KEY RESULT AREAS
• Workshop Support in Fabrication and Assembly
• Maintenance Assistance
• Repairs and Operations Support
• Documentation and Reporting
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Skilled Worker Class 4 Welding Certificate (Grade 12) OR
• Skilled Worker Class 3 Welding Certificate (Grade 11) OR
• Skilled Worker Class 2 Welding Certificate (Grade 10)
• 5 Ordinary Levels including English Language and Mathematics.
• At least 3 years post qualifying experience in a relevant field.
