• Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the precision engineering sector and manufacturer of industrial gearboxes, winches, and hoists, is seeking experienced Turners to join their team. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in operating manual and/or CNC lathes.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

• • Read and interpret engineering drawings with precise tolerances

  • Operate manual and CNC lathes for accurate machining

  • Perform threading, boring, taper turning, facing, and drilling

  • Use micrometers, verniers, and gauges for inspection

  • Maintain tools and perform lathe sharpening and upkeep

 

 

Experience & skills:

 

 

• • Minimum 5 years in a general engineering workshop

  • Proficient in center lathe setup and operation
