New Sahara Ventures is looking for an Accountant to join the Harare Office team. New Sahara Ventures is the Leading Developer and turn-key Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations & Maintenance Contractor Off grid, Grid tied Solar systems/Farms and power infrastructure networks in Zimbabwe and SADC.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

• Recording financial transactions (journal ledgers and ledger maintenance).

• Prepare and analyse financial statements.

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.

• Implementing and maintaining internal controls.

• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

 

 

The candidate:

 

 

• Must have a BCOM / BACC in Accounting/ Finance.

• The candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in the accounting field.

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email clients).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
