The Mining Engineer will carry out mining engineering work at specific mine sites and provide technical support to the mining and technical team. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Mining Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to meet targets.

•Plan, design, and supervise the development of mines.

•Prepare mine plans, schedules and budgets.

•Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and optimize productivity.

•Work with other departments to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with safety and within budget.

•Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

•Prepare technical reports and documentation.

•Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

•Assist in developing mine safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.

•Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.

•Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

•Ability to develop mine plans and production schedules.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•At least 3 to 5 years of mining engineering in a related field.

•In-depth knowledge of mining methods and techniques.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills.

•Valid Driver’s License.

•Willingness to work in remote locations.
