Job Description

Applications are invited to fill in the position of Stores Clerk which has risen within the company

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff as well as the sales and finance departments.
-Analyzing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock
-Keep accurate records of transfer journals per branch
-Updating ledger tints for branches
-Making available the right shelves to make stock easily countable.
-Overseeing stock storage processes including tagging boxing and labelling
-Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.
-Performing regular inventory audits , counts and keeping stock purchasing within budgets.
-Production of inventory reports such as inventory discrepancy report inventory change report, inventory turnover report and stock on hand report.
-Stock Take Preparation and participation
-Raise GRN AND supplier invoices for every entry (imports) and submit for checks and approvals

Qualifications and Experience

– 5 “O” levels including English language and mathematics or Accounts
-A certificate or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Accountancy or equivalent is an added advantage
– Driver’s licence
-Experience added advantage
