NETWORKS ADMINISTRATOR- HARARE

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Replaces faulty network hardware components when required.
• Maintains, configures, and monitor virus protection software and email applications.
• Monitors network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Confers with network users about solving existing system problems.
• Operates master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
• Coordinates computer network access and use.
• Designs, configures and tests networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering locus.
• CCIE (Certified Inter Network Expert) and /or CCNP (Certified Network Professional).
• 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Strong understanding ol network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection
• Network security experience.
• LAN and WAN experience.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
