The Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe [PCZ] is inviting qualified, experienced, and honest applicants to the post of
Finance Manager:

Reporting to the Registrar, the incumbent will be responsible for the following among other related duties:
⦁ Planning and managing Council’s finance department
⦁ Providing financial advice to Council
⦁ Preparing annual budgets
⦁ Preparing monthly financial management reports
⦁ Preparing financial reports and statements for annual audits
⦁ Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations
⦁ Reviewing and maintaining internal financial controls procedures
⦁ Assisting in the management of Council Assets and asset procurement plans
* Managing Council’s creditors and debtors accounts
♦ Develop Council’s investment strategy and monitor and advise on Council’s investments
⦁ Prepare Committee reports.
The successful candidate for the post should have the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
⦁ Be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in accounting orfinance.
⦁ Be a holder of a Masters degree in accounting, finance, business management or strategic planning
⦁ Be a holder of a professional qualification such as CIS, CIMA, ACCA
⦁ Have at leastfive [5] years’ experience in a similar position
⦁ Have strong financial management and reporting skills.
⦁ Have sound knowledge of payroll, computerized accounting, and financial reporting systems.
⦁ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
