PROJECT MANAGER (Elections)

JOB PROFILE

The appointment is made on a fixed-term contract basis with an initial probation period of
three months.

1. JOB TITLE: Project Manager
2. REPORTS TO: Executive Director
3. DURATION: 10 Months
4. LOCATION:Harare

5. JOB PURPOSE

5.1 Real-Time Project Execution: Lead the day-to-day imple­mentation of the Project from inception to completion.
5.2 Systems Development and Implementation
5.3 Compliance and Risk Management
5.4 Budget Management
5.5 Provide Overall Supervision, Guidance, and Coordination, to the 10 Provincial Coordinators on the Project
5.6 Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Accountability, and Learning: Facilitate the compilation of the project reports (financial and narrative) to meet the project funders’ require­ments.
5.7 Executive and Management Support: Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Executive Director to sup­port management in the completion of project-related tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

⦁ Relevant professional qualification/ post-graduate degree
⦁ Election Management experience
⦁ Minimum 8 years of comparative experience in managing and
facilitating processes in challenging environments
⦁ Familiar with donor context and requirements

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

⦁ A clean class 4 driver’s license is a must
⦁ Ability to travel
