Job Summary
Nash Paints is looking for Assistant Mechanics to be part of the workshop mechanical team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify mechanical problems, often by using diagnostic equipment
- Attending to breakdowns
- Reviewing and implementing workshop operating procedure
- Ordering of vehicle spares and completion of job cards
- Test parts and systems of all vehicles to ensure that they are working properly
- Performing basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels and rotating tyres
- Repair of replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings, etc
Qualifications And Experience
- Diploma/Certificate in Automotive engineering or Mechanics
- 1 year experience in the field
- Ability to manage time
- Problem solving skills
- Analytical skills
