We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, results oriented and purpose driven Geologist to join our mining company.

Grade control, modelling reconciliation and reporting.
Develop and apply knowledge of the local geology and the impact of local geological conditions on mine operations and ore feed to the process plant.
Geological modelling, estimation and evaluation drilling.
Planning, exploration and evaluation of resources.
Interpret geological and sampling (essay) data.
Populate drilling and mapping dataset into Geological databases and ensuring data integrity.
Provide geological support to Mine Operators, Process Plant Operators and the Environmental team.
Maintain the geological wireframe model.
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly information and technical reports.
Maintain the geological database.
Promote, support and implement sound environmental and safety management practices in line with legislation and mine policies and procedures.
Minimize external dilution contamination of the ore feed.
Provide visible safety leadership in the course of all project engagements.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or equivalent.
Experience in production geology role with strong technical skills.
At least 1-5 years of experience in Mining environment.
Able to work a flexible schedule which includes day and night shift.
Valid Driver’s License
Computer literate
Microsoft Office Suite, GeoSoft, Vulcan, Surpac, AutoCad etc
Petrographic microscope
Field mapping
