BASIC FUNCTION
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Incumbent will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of the Reconciliations Section ensuring accuracy timely Preparation and submission of reconciliations and tax returns
Duties And Responsibilities
KEY ACTIVMES OF THE JOB
• Designing and implementing internal control system over suspense and accounts and GLs.
• Supervising and coordinating reconciliations
• Generating month-end reports on product performance.
• Performing reviews on the validity and completeness of income generate by the Bank
• Authorizing all adjustments, misposts, settlements and refunds.
• Resolving queries and enforcing the implementation of service level agreements.
• Ensuring that all outstanding amounts with agencies and alliance partners are sett.
• Participates in all User Acceptance tests for Bank product.
• Ensuring correct, accurate and timely completion of tax returns
• Reconciling tax general ledgers to ZIM tax statements
Qualifications And Experience
• Degree in Accounting, Banking. Finance or equivalent.
• Studying for a professional Accounting qualification
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Reconciliations or Accounting.
• Knowledge of Excel and automated reconciliation software
