Job Summary
We are looking for a Logistics and Supply clerk to join our team.
Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include:
● Carry out Quality control for the Stores Operations.
● Manages and controls the quality processes for ALL procurement, services, and delivery of goods.
● Reviews daily, weekly vehicle mileage/equipment usage vs fuel issues/consumption and proposes actions to correct adverse performances off the reviews.
● Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly inventory levels, stock outs, production plan and running sites stock consumption and proposes actions to correct adverse performances off the reviews.
● Liaises with raw materials Procurement and Engineering teams to ensure that inbound raw materials are delivered within the stipulated times, quantities, and quality specifications.
● Carries out Stock and outward goods quality control inspections.
● Implements actions to correct site delays due to stock outs, machinery or equipment breakdowns, fabrication rework due to quality errors timely.
● Carries out work according to working instructions and standard operating procedures for ALL Operations activities.
● Assists the Procurement department by providing the necessary information to facilitate procurement of the desired raw materials.
● Procures necessary consumable in a just in time manner to ensure production at the workshop and on site is not affected.
● Carries out stock takes monthly or as and when required.
● Maintains all stock/stores records.
Qualifications And Experience
Person Specification:
➢ A Degree/ Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any other related degree/ diploma from a recognised institute.
➢ At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
