Wanted is an Accountant in the energy business, responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of an organization. The duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a organization’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. Experience in tax returns, payroll, NSSA payments, books of accounts, profit and loss accounts is a must.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Reconciling the organization’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers

• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures

• Managing income and expenditure accounts

• Generating the organization’s financial reports using income and expenditure data

• Keeping a check on the organization’s finances based on financial status

• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience

• Excellent business analysis skills
