Vacancy Manager: Finance Manager – Reporting and Performance

Purpose of the job

Accurate and timeous reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

Responsibilities

International Financial Reporting Standards compliant statutory reporting.
Preparation of IAS 29 — Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies accounts.
Challenging existing financial models and scenarios.
Technical accounting champion of the department.
Preparation of standard Group reporting packs.
Supporting the external audit function for both interim and final year end cycles.
Annual budgeting.
Working with other business units and areas as needed.

Qualifications and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
At least 3 years of experience in the Banking sector with at least 2 years’ relevant IFRS reporting experience.
Experience with Group international reporting will be an added advantage.
Keen knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Job Related Knowledge
