Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate anomalies and prepare corrective accounting entries

Correctly account for transactions in various different currencies and ledgers within the accounting system

Manage site petty cash, employee advances and expense report

Assist departments in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

Analyse differences between actual budget and forecast

Provide effective support to the external, internal and Government auditors

Prepare work orders for the Finance Department and perform other administrative tasks

Qualification

Professional qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA

3 years minimum experience in Accounting

Previous experience in a mining experience an added advantage

Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheets and Word

Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people at various levels both internally and externally

Commercial awareness and business acumen
