Graduate Trainee – IT 279 views

An opportunity has arisen for recent graduates to join Higherlife Foundation  as graduate trainees. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the operations of IT systems and platforms, providing needed technical support and modifications to keep systems up, healthy and optimize systems performance.

The incumbent will be reporting to the Manager – Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Information Systems Support & Optimization
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
• Helpdesk Support
• Computer Equipment Support and Maintenance
• Assists In Monitoring Use of Hardware and Software for Breaches.
• Technical Research, Analysis and Development
• Web Conferencing and Events Support

Qualifications and Competencies

• Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent.
• Professional Certification/Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems an added advantage.
• Must have graduated within the last 2years
• Good communication, report writing, financial analysis and presentation skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages and knowledge of SPSS.
• Clean Class 4 Drivers license an added advantage.
