Responsibilities
The GMO is a generalist medical officer experienced enough to be posted and function at all levels of the hospital health delivery system in Zimbabwe; The GMO provides management of all medical and surgical cases, emergencies, chronic and acute cases and refers complicated to the Provincial Hospital; Manages minor surgical, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics and trauma, paediatric and medical emergencies; Acts or is designated Chief Medical Officer in charge of the Hospital.
Typical background, experience & requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, MBChB, MBBS or any other qualification any other relevant qualification; Specialist Services will be an added advantage; At least 5 years of experience; Registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.
