VACANCY: CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
(GRADE 9)-RE-AD VERT
Reports to the District Engineer
Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Computer literate with experience in Auto CAD.
- A clearance from the ZRP
- A clean Class 4 driver’s license.
Key result areas
- Carrying out surveys for new works and supervision for the construction of these works using either in house labour or contractors.
- Assisting the District Engineer with Designing and constructing road infrastructure such as bridges.
- Facilitating the procurement of project materials.
- Implementing all civil works projects.
- Maintaining council’s water and sewer reticulation systems.
- Assisting the District Engineer with Preparing committee budgets and monitoring their implementation.
- Any other duties assigned by the District Engineer.
