Microfinance Operations Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• This person will not only be responsible for growth and management of the loan  portfolio
• Implement the MFI strategy and business plan in accordance with the MFI Core Values,Mission Statement and relevant MFI policies and protocols
• Recruit,train,coach,mentor and supervise core business persons and ensure that they function at a high standard of timeliness and technical competency.
• Develop,revise and update operations manual and procedures concerning lending methodologies,financial services,internal control systems and other relevant documents
• Oversee Branch functioning with respect to operations,business development,systems and processes
• Provide reports on operations as requested by the MD and the board of directors
• Responsible for effectiveness and efficiency of the branches,team development,team morale and implementation of microfinance code of conduct at the various levels in operations.

Skills and Education

• Five(5) years leadership experience,at least two of which are in microfinance
• A degree in business administration,accounting,finance,marketing,economics,mathematics,statistics
• A good communicator
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel,PowerPoint and Word and generally internet savvy
