Boiler Maker

Location: Harare

Outline of Duties & Responsibilities:

 To manage the high sided project and ensure targets set are achieved and achievable
 To develop the trailer high sided maintenance system after the project is complete
 To manage and control all tooling required for this

 To ensure that orders are placed timeously in order to keep work flowing
 To liaise on a daily basis with Management on progress and strategic planning
 To manage staff that have been allocated to this development
 Analysing requirements for a seamless production maintenance program
 Ensure sufficient task analyses are completed to carry work out safely.
 Maintain and use equipment as designed.
 Ensure that work is performed as per Job Cards or ITP’s and current schedule of works.

 Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
 Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, team building and training and developing the current skill base
 Adherence to Company procedures.
 Perform other tasks as may be required by the Workshop Foreman and Workshop Manager.

Hard Skills – Background / Technical Competences
 Academic Background: Apprenticeship/ Boiler Maker/ Welding engineering;
 Experience required (minimum/maximum): 3-5 years
 Age (minimum / maximum): 25-40;
 Others: English – full command of the English language, both written and spoken;
 Time availability: willingness to work nights and weekends as per workload.
