We are looking for a Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving Claremont Business School’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding student enrollment across local, regional, and international markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and emerging markets to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategies for revenue growth, aligning with the company’s overall strategic goals.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with existing clients and potential customers and partners.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals and coordinate with marketing team to close deals.
  • Negotiate terms, prepare proposals, and manage existing contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
  • Work closely with internal teams such customer service, learning, IT, marketing, registry, admin, and finance to ensure a unified approach to business development.
  • Monitor and report on performance, business development activities, and key metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in a business-related field
  • A business-related Master’s Degree or a professional qualification in marketing will be an added advantage
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Capability to analyze market data, identify trends, and assess opportunities.
  • Ability to develop strategies for long-term growth and align initiatives with company objectives.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve favorable outcomes.
