Oxfam Zimbabwe is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Quality Knowledge Management Coordinator to strengthen programme quality, learning, monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management across its country programme. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership on programme quality, support evidence-based decision-making, strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems, facilitate organisational learning and ensure programmes achieve sustainable impact while meeting donor and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and advisory support on programme quality.
- Analyse programme strategies and recommend improvements for sustainable outcomes.
- Lead reviews, research and programme analysis to improve quality and effectiveness.
- Work closely with programme leads to strengthen monitoring, evaluation and programme impact across the SAF Cluster.
- Coordinate documentation and sharing of innovations, lessons learned and best practices.
- Strengthen knowledge management systems across programmes and partners.
- Support participatory monitoring approaches within partner organisations.
- Improve qualitative and quantitative reporting standards.
- Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation quality control systems.
- Contribute to high-quality donor, regional and country programme reports.
- Ensure programmes comply with Oxfam policies, guidelines and quality standards.
- Support programme teams in delivering effective and accountable programmes.
- Prepare programme updates, reports and briefings.
- Support donor missions and stakeholder visits.
- Coordinate effectively with government authorities, NGOs and development partners.
- Contribute to country strategy development as a member of the Programme Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Project Planning or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree supported by relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications and at least 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of six years’ experience managing complex development programmes.
- At least three years of experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience working within multi-sector programmes.
- Strong leadership experience in programme impact assessment.
- Experience developing staff capacity through coaching, mentoring and training.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound programme budgets.
- Demonstrated experience in long-term development, humanitarian, advocacy or campaigning programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of programme development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong technical expertise in monitoring, evaluation, research and organisational learning.
- Knowledge of statistical software packages.
- Strong understanding of gender equality, poverty and development issues within the Southern Africa region.
