Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients in both formal and informal sectors
- Build networks in communities, associations, markets and business groups.
- Meet potential clients and explain insurance benefits
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products- life, health, asset, micro insurance
- Explain policy features, benefits, premiums, exclusions, and claims process to clients.
- Convert leads into policyholders and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Guide clients through the claims process and liase with claims department
- Build long-term relationships to reduce lapses and increase referrals
- Adhere to insurance regulations, code of conduct, and ant-fraud policies.
- Submit daily, weekly sales reports, pipeline updates and market feedback.
- Report client concerns, competitor products, and markets.
- Follow up on revenue collections and ensure timely payments.
- Handle client queries, complaints and service requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent/ Diploma in Marketing
- Candidate must possess at least COP
- 2 – 3 years Sales working experience
- Experience in the Insurance or Microfinance is an added advantage
- Strong personality, goal oriented
- Excellent communication, negotiation, sales and marketing skills
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
