Key Responsibilities
- Organising and coordinating meetings for the Senior University Executive Office.
- Managing the office diary and correspondence, including maintaining an efficient filing system.
- Maintaining records of operational queries or complaints and actions taken.
- Serving as the contact person for external institutions and individuals.
- Coordinating high-profile events, official visits and venue preparations.
- Monitoring and following up on programmes, initiatives, projects, documents and tasks.
- Ensuring timely attention to urgent and long-term matters while updating the Senior University Executive Office on progress.
- Reading, monitoring and responding to emails.
- Answering telephone calls and handling enquiries.
- Booking meetings and organising travel arrangements.
- Writing minutes and typing documents.
- Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment.
- Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Marketing or Public Relations .
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Marketing or Public Relations will be an added advantage.
- Experience in secretarial duties.
- At least three (3) years of progressive administrative or office management experience.
- Knowledge of Higher Education structures, university processes and regulations.
