Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated execution support to the Advancement & Relations Officer across the College’s marketing, communications, alumni, events and stakeholder engagement activities;
  • Manage the College’s social media accounts daily in accordance with brand guidelines and the content calendar, creating, scheduling and publishing posts, stories, graphics and short-form video;
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to routine queries, escalate matters as appropriate, and report monthly on social media and digital engagement analytics;
  • Draft communications content, including news articles, newsletters, press releases and event announcements, for the Officer’s review, and design digital and print promotional materials in line with brand standards;
  • Assist with photography, videography and multimedia capture at College events, and maintain the College’s digital media library;
  • Manage event logistics as delegated, including venue set-up, catering liaison, invitation management, registration and on-the-day coordination, and prepare branded event materials;
  • Maintain and update the alumni, sponsorship and donor databases, and assist with alumni and donor communications;
  • Update College website content as directed, and assist in directing the Marketing Intern’s day-to-day tasks as delegated by the Officer.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies or a related discipline;
  • At least one to two years’ experience in a marketing, communications or digital media role;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media management and content creation;
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or the Adobe suite; website CMS experience will be an added advantage;
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail;
  • Ability to build strong, respectful and productive relationships with all stakeholders;
  • Willingness to work within the Catholic traditions and ethos of St Ignatius College;
  • A strong commitment to child safeguarding;
  • Irreproachable integrity and professional conduct;
  • Ability and willingness to work additional hours as needed, including evenings and weekends for College functions.
