Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design LTE EPC and future 5G Core capacity.
- Deploy and integrate mobile core network elements.
- Support LTE, 5G NSA and future 5G SA deployments.
- Monitor and optimise network performance.
- Perform subscriber provisioning and QoS management.
- Resolve network faults and implement security controls.
- Maintain operational and configuration records.
- Plan LTE and 5G radio coverage and expansion.
- Conduct RF planning, site surveys and propagation analysis.
- Install and integrate LTE eNodeBs and future 5G gNodeBs.
- Monitor and optimise network performance.
- Conduct drive tests and investigate customer complaints.
- Diagnose faults and support network restoration.
- Design and support enterprise IP connectivity solutions.
- Manage Cisco SD-WAN environments.
- Support wholesale internet and IP Transit services.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Registration with the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers or recognised professional body.
- Valid Class 4 Zimbabwe Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum four years’ relevant experience.
- Experience with LTE EPC and IP networking.
- Experience with ZTE ZXUN EPC or equivalent is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Registration with the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers or recognised professional body.
- Valid Class 4 Zimbabwe Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum four years’ relevant LTE or 5G RAN experience.
- Experience in RF planning, optimisation and transmission connectivity.
- Experience with ZTE LTE/5G RAN or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Registration with the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers or recognised professional body.
- Valid Class 4 Zimbabwe Driver’s Licence.
- CCNP Enterprise or Service Provider certification (CCIE is an advantage).
- Cisco SD-WAN certification or equivalent expertise.
- Minimum four years’ relevant telecom, ISP or enterprise experience.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, VPNs and DWDM integration.
