Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and facilitate annual business development plans and budgets in conjunction with Group MD and Business Unit Heads which details activities to follow during the fiscal year in line with meeting organizational objectives.
  • Solicit and deliver new business/revenue for all the subsidiaries.
  • Develop concept notes and business plans, analyse opportunities and provide recommendations to the business.
  • Maximize Sponsorship, Promotions and Interactive Revenue for the companies by providing Sponsorship and Promotion support to the sales teams of the subsidiaries and ensure effective implementation.
  • Deliver creative, multi-platform advertising solutions for clients. Sourcing business opportunities and events that represent the Group’s target market coupled with finding relevant sponsors in order to secure revenue.
  • Support the sales teams on new and existing customers to develop long-term relationships that are financially rewarding.
  • Work across the Sales, Creative, Programming and Marketing departments to deliver creative solutions that benefit both client and subsidiary entities
  • Demonstrate great creative thinking that generates ideas that clients want to buy into
  • Manage the communication and delivery of all business ideas and activity within the group
  • Manage time efficiently and prioritise focus on highest revenue opportunities
  • To be able to create documents and proposals for promotions in addition to big event campaigns

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science and any relevant qualifications
  • Ability to prepare proposals, presentations, and account summaries to support business development activities.
  • Proven track record in driving innovation, fostering environmental start-ups, and building impactful partnerships and collaborations across diverse sectors
  • MBA/ MBL will be an added advantage
  • 5 years relevant experience.
