Key Responsibilities

• Care, and management of dogs for various purposes including security, law enforcement and therapy;
• Feed, exercise and groom dogs regularly to ensure their physical health and well-being;
• Inspect and assess the behavior of dogs to determine their temperament, ability and aptitude for training;
• Provide dogs with reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors;
• Handle dogs in different situations such as crowded public places, to ensure they are comfortable and can function effectively.

Requirements

• A Certificate in Security Guard Training or its equivalent from a reputable Private Security Service Organisation/Public Security Policing Institution/Organisation or Provider;
• At least five (5) “O” Level subjects, including English Language;
• A minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualification work experience in Public/Private Security Guarding at reputable organisations;
• Clean Criminal Record and must be physically fit;
• Be able to demonstrate work or exceptional quality, have good interpersonal skills and good customer service;
• Proof of Security and/or Asset Protection Operations Experience would be an added advantage;
• Previous experience as a Dog Handler;
