We are seeking a Sales Representative for a Microfinance to drive growth in the informal sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting microfinance products, building trust with small traders, vendors, and informal business operators, and ensuring financial inclusion through effective sales and client support.

Key Responsibilities

  • a) Promote and sell products directly to informal traders (tuck shops, market stalls, street vendors).
  • b) Build strong customer relationships through regular visits and trust-based engagement.
  • c) Negotiate sales and manage flexible payment methods (cash, mobile money, credit).
  • d) Ensure product visibility through merchandising, posters, and samples.
  • e) Collect market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and customer preferences.
  • f) Provide after-sales support and basic product training to traders.
  • g) Report daily/weekly sales performance to management
  • h) Achieve set sales targets consistently.
  • i) Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer accounts.
  • j) Uphold company standards in branding, customer service, and compliance.

Requirements
