Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Executive Director that has arisen within Zimbabwe National Quality Assurance Programme (ZINQAP). The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities

Providing strategic leadership to the organisation.
Coordinating the development of annual strategic plans, operational work plans, budgets, and cash flow projections.
Monitoring, supervising, and coordinating the effective implementation of approved work plans and programmes.
Overseeing and managing the financial affairs of the organisation in line with approved policies and budgets.
Providing overall Human Resource Management, including staff supervision, performance management, and capacity development.
Serving as Secretary to the ZINQAP Board of Trustees.
Representing the organisation at national, regional, and international forums and engagements.
Monitoring, supervising, and coordinating the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ZINQAP’s Quality Management System.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees from time to time.

Requirements

A Degree or equivalent qualification in a Science-related field, preferably Medical Laboratory Sciences, with a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience.
Proven experience working with an accredited External Quality Assessment (EQA) service provider.
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Computer Proficiency.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated managerial and leadership capability.
A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
